I decided to take part in Pwnisher's 3D Community Challenge this time. There have already been a several challenges before, and most 3D artists know about it. I joined a bit late — usually, participants get a whole month, but I only had about two weeks to put this video together.

It was fun. I’m not even sure what I was expecting — maybe to make some friends, connect with people, or even win something. I don’t really know. But the biggest value for me wasn’t about spending another two weeks in Blender or working with 3D graphics all day — that’s already my daily routine. What mattered most was the chance to play around with the world of Aeon’s Paradise (my dream cartoon project)

To be honest, after spending almost two weeks on this video, I did feel a bit burned out. The deadlines, the pressure, the constant thought of whether people would appreciate it or not — and in the end I didn’t even make it into the top 100. Overall 2,500 artists participated in the challenge.

In the end, I realized I actually enjoy working at a calmer pace, developing the universe in my own way. That’s where I feel the most pure and free creativity, without worrying about what judges might like. Overall, the experience was interesting, but I’m still not sure if I want to take part in challenges again.
